The whole reason for this Hawaiian Holiday was the celebration of our marriage on 5-5-17. The day we each married our best friend. We actually got married on our 24th anniversary. The decision to go to a Hawaii was simple. We had a commitment ceremony on 7-7-7. Never dreaming it would become legal for us to marry we chose an awesome honeymoon to Alaska. So when the time came it only made sense for us not go to one of the lower 48 states for our second honeymoon.
